Main Menu (Devlog1)


Worked on the main menu yesterday! Save and Load options next, and then the character creator!

The finished animation will have breathing, respiration noises, liquid noises, bubbles and cool lighting effects. I'm hoping to make the pipes shift and the incubation pod move as well.

Deploy starts a new game, connect reloads an old game.

The idea for this is that you're looking at an avatar/user/player in stasis, by deploying them you are waking them from stasis, you'll then be taken to customize your own player avatar before watching a scene where many pods are launched to the surface of aaud, you included. <3

The music that goes with this expresses the duality of living in the sim and being woken in the world, splitting between the in sim tribal drums of this avatar's clan, and the interface and insect noises of the mother ship's tech.
